Luis and Vanessa, both specialist dentists, are the couple behind Aurum Coffee. Their passion for coffee was born from a desire to merge science, dedication, and human sensitivity into a product that embodies excellence and authenticity. With the same discipline from their professional careers, they built Aurum Coffee to share not only remarkable coffees, but also the story of their land, the work of local farmers, and the hope of a new generation of coffee growers.

The farm's unique terroir includes native faique shade trees that create a cool microclimate and enrich the soil with natural nitrogen, waters from Podocarpus National Park that bring purity and minerality influencing fermentation, and Masanamaca's climate of cool nights and mild days that extends cherry maturation for increased bean density. The Podocarpus River borders the farm, bringing freshness and biodiversity.

The Champagne Natural process uses select wine yeasts on whole cherries to create complex, sparkling, and fruit-forward notes in the coffee.
