Kalita 185 Hasamiyaki Sandstone Dripper (L)

We are proud to offer the Kalita Hasami Dripper, birthed out of a collaboration between Kalita and Hasamiyaki.

This particular dripper is made using a method that has been considered a tradition for four centuries in the town of Hasami in Nagasaki. While most Kalita drippers are known to have a stainless steel, and/or sealed, ceramic finish—this model of the dripper conveys a warm, muted texture to it being made with a bend of (Sagan) sandstone a potter’s stone (Amakusa Touseki stone).

Maintaining the traditional design of the Kalita, the Hasami porcelain ensures a slim and sturdy look while promoting durability.

A special version of the Kalita Wave 185, crafted using a traditional porcelain method called Hasamiyaki. This model features a blend of Amakusa Touseki stone and Sagan (sandstone).

Kalita wave is an ideal brewing method for body and sweetness, and serves 3-4 cups
