Finca El Limon is owned by producer Eduard Fernandez and is located in the Huabal district of the Jaén province in Cajamarca, Peru. The farm is 7.5 hectares with 3 hectares containing around 15,000 coffee plants. The land boasts rich clay soil full of native vegetation and trees. Harvest takes place each year from May to November. Once picked, the coffee is depulped within a day. It is then dried for 20 to 30 days on shaded beds. Fernandez is dedicated to producing high-quality coffee, which is why he has invested in the renewal of varieties and improved post-harvest practices. The resulting economic benefit has gone toward increasing quality of life and improvements in housing and education.
